BUFFALO, N.Y. - Petra Jerabkova (Prague, Czech Republic) collected her third All-Tournament Team honor in as many weeks, this time for her three-match outing at the Blue & White Classic, hosted by the University at Buffalo, the school announced late Saturday.

Jerabkova, a junior, is playing her first season of collegiate volleyball and just wrapped up her third tournament with the Hawks. In each, she has collected the honor, this time being selected as UMES' lone selection.

While the Hawks struggled with #13 Ohio State, Jerabkova did all she could, posting three kills, seven assists and three digs in the loss. She bettered those numbers against Buffalo, collecting six kills and nine assists while adding a service ace, a block assist and four digs.

In the final match of the event against the Crusaders of Valparaiso, Jerabkova had four kills, 16 assists, six digs, another ace and another block assist.

She would total 13 kills, 32 assists and 13 digs.

The rest of the All-Tournament Team would include Valpo's Ellen Vanden Berg, Buffalo's Christine Fritsche and Carissa McKenna and Ohio State's Taylor Sandbothe, Erin Sekinger and MVP Kaitlyn Leary. OSU was named tournament champion, sweeping all three teams by a 3-0 score while Buffalo was the runner-up, topping Valpo and the Hawks.

Jerabkova and the young Hawks have weathered the tournament portion of their schedule and now return to Princess Anne for their home and conference opener when they host Delaware State on September 27, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.
