Haley Robinson earned her first collegiate All-Tournament Team honors this weekend.

NORFOLK, Va. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women's volleyball team is still young and still learning to play together, but the future is bright, as more new Hawks have earned recognition. Petra Jerabkova (Prague, Czech Republic) and Haley Robinson (Honolulu, Hawaii) both playing their first season of collegiate volleyball, were named to the 2013 NSU Spartan Invite All-Tournament Team.

Jerabkova had another all-around solid tournament, posting 18 kills, 44 assists, a pair of aces, 17 digs and three blocks.

Robinson had her best tournament to date, notching 19 kills, nine blocks, six digs, an ace and a pair of assists. She hit over .300 for the three matches.

The pair earned honors along with Norfolk State's Jessica Johnson and Goda Janauskaite, Bethune-Cookman's Delicia Pierre and Charlotte's Taylor Cannon and Amanda Videmsek, who was the tournament MVP.

UMES looks to build on its first win of the season next weekend in Buffalo, N.Y. when they face the host, Ohio State and Valparaiso.
