Baltimore, Maryland - The Maryland Eastern Shore volleyball team swept through Coppin State on Thursday night (25-16, 25-17, 25-13) to remain undefeated in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play heading into Friday's battle at Morgan State (2-14, 1-2 MEAC).

The Shore (17-6, 4-0 MEAC) was led by the three-pronged attack of Lucia Babic (Sisak, Croatia), Rachel Kayongo (Northridge, California) and Iva Vujosevic (Bar, Montenegro).

Babic led all players with 13 kills (.545 attack percentage) and added eight digs and an ace.

Kayongo, had a game-high 12 digs to go along with 10 kills, while Vujosevic also added 10 kills and an ace.

Ivana Blazevic picked up 33 assists.

Eastern Shore sported a 41 percent attack percentage in the first set, 37 in the second and 27 in the third as they closed things out. The Hawks had eight attack errors to Coppin's 15.

The Oct. 13 showdown at Morgan State begins at 5:30 p.m. at Hill Field House. The Hawks will then be out of action until Oct. 19 when they travel to Hampton for a 6 p.m. tilt.
