Following the 2017 season, Guerra was named to the All-MEAC First Team as a utility player and Second Team as a pitcher.

She registered seven wins, including four complete-game shutouts in the 2017 season. At the dish, she batted .380 in league play with a .429 on-base percentage while recording eight multi-hit games last season.

Casarez and Guerra will serve as team captains for the Hawks this season.
