Hawks hit greens at Fall Tiger Invite

SAVANNAH, Georgia -

The Hawks teed it up the last event of the Fall 2017 season at Crosswinds Golf Course (par 72). After day one at the Fall Tiger Invitational hosted by the Savannah State University Tigers, North Carolina A&T Lady Aggies leads the team competition with a day 1 total of 307 (+19), Savannah State sits in second with a total 326 (+38), Hampton University Lady Pirates are in third 347 (+59), the Lady Hawks sit in fourth shooting a day one total of 386 (+98).

Sophomore Josephina Oh (Severn, Maryland) sits in tied for 7th firing an 80 six-over-par. Georgia native Senior Jasmin Cunningham (Atlanta, Georgia) fired 91 19-over-par and is currently in solo 19th place after day one.

The Shore men saw three players compete as individuals after an illness forced two to withdraw before the start.

Senior Blair Waters (Jacksonville, Florida) shot a 75-77152 and was tied for 15th at eight-over-par. Freshman Austin Goode (Charlotte, North Carolina) finished the first day in a tie for 25th with and 83-75158 (+14). Christian Owens, a senior from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, shot a 173 (+29).
