Rhoda earns MEAC bowler of the week honors after strong Bearcat Open
Jacqueline Rhoda averaged a 218.6 in individual competition last week and helped lead the team to a 7-5 record on er way to MEAC Bowler of the Week honors.

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland -

University of Maryland Eastern Shore junior bowler Jacqueline Rhoda (Portage, Indiana) was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Bowler of the Week, for the week ending Oct. 30, the conference office announced today.

Rhoda averaged 218.6 pins in traditional play at the Brunswick BearCat Open hosted by McKendree University, breaking the 200-pin mark four times -- including a weekend-best 257 against No. 3 Vanderbilt. Her performance helped the Hawks pick up five wins against nationally-ranked teams, and Rhoda was third in individual total pinfall.
