Hawks finish 2-3 on Day 1 of Prairie View Invite

The opening day of the Prairie View A&M Invitational, held at the International Training and Research Center, could have gone better for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as the Hawks dropped three of their five matched on the day.

Eastern Shore averaged a 198.2 on the day of Baker competition and opened the day with a 985-921 win against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference South rival North Carolina A&T State. A 1,037-963 loss to Stephen F. Austin followed before the Hawks dropped a 1,036-991 decision to Nebraska.

Sacred Heart got the better of The Shore 1,044-1,025 despite a strong showing and then the squad pulled off a 984-936 win against Prairie View A&M.
