2016-17: MEAC ALL-Academic honoree... Averaged 185.7 in Baker and 188.1 in traditional play... Converting 70.3 percent of her spares... Sported high game of the season with a 278 at Kutztown...

2015-2016:
Was an integral part of the Hawks during her rookie season ... second on team in strike percentage at just over 40 percent ... led freshman in traditional frames bowled with 560 (second most on the team)... Third on the team in both spare percentage, converting two thirds of the time... Converted single pins at a rate of over 80 percent ... Ranked 20th in nation among IBMA qualifiers in tournament average for less than 48 games... Bowled a season high average of 214 at the Kutztown Invitational ... won multiple ECAC Rookie and Bowler of the Week awards... Named MEAC Bowler of the Week (Jan. 26). Averaged 193.2 in team games and 182.1 in baker play.

Personal: August will be the first Hawaiian bowler to suit up for the Hawks... dominated prep bowling in the state, winning the Oahu Interscholastic... Association tournament three straight years. August came from 16th place overall and more than 200 pins down in her senior year to win her third straight title... She was named her high school’s Most Outstanding Player in 2010 and 2012... The latter year she guided her team to the runner-up title for the state championship after finishing third the previous year. She carries a high game of a 279 and a high series of a 740 in high school ... Also traveled with Schofield Junior Bowling league and the Oahu Junior Travel Masters and sported the league’s highest girl’s average in 2014 and 2015. In league she had a series average of a 230 and a 260 high game.
