Hawks finish strong on Day 2 of MEAC North No. 1

Following a day of competition on Saturday that they'd rather forget, the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks Bowling squad rebounded to win all four of their Baker matches on Sunday to finish 5-3 in the meet.

2017-2018: MEAC All-Academic Team... Bowled 582 frames (50.3 percent of team's frames)... Averaged 184.2 (Baker) and 189.1 (Traditional)... Converted 87.2 percent of single pin spares...

Named Co-MEAC Rookie of the Year... Averaged 198.6 in Baker games and 181.5 in traditional... Converted 71.6 percent of her spares and 89.3 percent of single pins... Rolled a 231 at the Mid-Winter Invitational... Had a 42.8 strike percentage... Bowled 968 frames in her first season...

High School/Amatuer:
 Was a volleyball player at Roanoke Valley Christian School, where she earned a letter for the 2014-15 season... Was class Salutatorian and a member of the National Honor Society...Made the A/B Honor Roll all four years of high school, was Junior Marshall and won the Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award... Was a youth Committee Member of VASTATEUSBC... Qualified four times for the Junior Gold Championships... Pregame routine: "I always wipe off the bowling ball and grab my rosin bag several times before I take my first shot. I envision how and where I want the ball to go down the lane before beginning my approach."... Plans upon graduation include establishing herself as a pharmacist and competeing in a few PWBA tournaments... Personal Best sports moment: "In 2013, lost to Breanna Clemmer during match play at the Junior Gold Championships to finish 7th. In 2015 and 2016, I was able to face her several more times in very close matches at the Tough Shots Tour Tournaments to finish first in three of the five events I competed in."... Personal Best non athletic moment was being awarded Salutatorian of here senior class... Best advice/favortie saying: "It's not a spint; It's a marathon"... Hobbies outside of sports include coloring and solving jigsaw puzzles...Person who influenced her the most was a former volleyball coach Stephanie Connor who "taught me to always give 100 percent whether it is in  practice or in competition.
