Frankie Allen will join Hawk Talk for its premiere at 7:00 p.m.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- UMES Athletics is proud to announce that the basketball coaches show "Hawk Talk" will premiere tonight at Peaky's Restaurant in Princess Anne, airing on the Hawks Radio Network from 7-8 p.m.

Peaky's Restaurant, the official restaurant of UMES athletics, will serve as host to Hawk Talk every Tuesday for the remainder of the basketball season. Peaky's is at 30361 Mount Vernon Road in Princess Anne, just down the road from the main campus.

SFMSports.Net, the broadcast partner of the Hawks Radio Network for men's and women's basketball, will produce the program. The show, hosted by UMES broadcasters Bret Lasky and Dave Vatz, can be heard online on the Hawks Radio Network home page plus on the radio on WGOP 540 AM in Pocomoke City and will air on tape delay on WQMR-AM 1590 AM on Wednesday.

This week's show will start with men's basketball coach Frankie Allen and senior guard Hillary Haley at 7:00 p.m. They will discuss the team's close defeat against Norfolk State and the upcoming contest with rival Delaware State.

Women's basketball associate head coach Revonda Whitley and graduate assistant coach Richard Ashley come on the program at 7:30 p.m. to talk about the women's team and their nine-game road trip, which concludes with Delaware State this Saturday.

Then at 7:45 p.m., UMES bowling coach Sharon Brummell joins the show to talk about her 14-year coaching run with the Maroon and Grey. Coach Brummell will be taking a new position at Georgetown and is retiring from coaching effective next week.
