The Lady Hawks concluded their 2015-16 campaign with a 68-51 defeat against Howard.
Batchelor on Udoji: "Her ability to effect the game on the defensive end will allow us to extend our pressure along with being able to take more risk because of her ability to block shots. Alexis has a great spirit and a servant attitude which I believe will make her a pleasure to coach."
2015-16: Played in 28 contests, including 24 starts ... became the program's all-time shot block leader (253) ... ranks top 10 in rebounds (3rd) and games played (8th) in the school's history ... won two preseason honors from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and College Sports Madness (CSM) ... nationally, she finished in the top 25 in blocks ... ranked top 3 on the team in blocks (1st), total rebounds (2nd), and steals (2nd) ... registered six boards and four points in her season debut against Georgetown (11/13/15) ... tallied 11 rebounds and a career-high four steals at Northeastern (11/19/15) ... grabbed 11 boards versus Mount St. Mary's (12/02/15) ... recorded a season-high 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting at North Carolina Central (12/05/15) ... registered a season-high 12 rebounds and nine points against Morgan State (01/11/16) ... recorded a season-high eight blocks in the road win at Howard (02/01/16) ... grabbed 11 boards in the road victory at Delaware State (02/13/16).
2012-13: One of the top defensive players in the MEAC, finishing first in the conference and 19th in Division I with 2.6 blocks a game, totaling 70 on the season ... named to the All-MEAC Rookie Team after averaging 4.8 points and 5.6 rebounds a game ... second-best shooting-percentage on the team at .395 ... two-time MEAC Rookie of the Week for the periods ending Nov. 19 and Dec. 31 ... near double double in win over Elizabeth City State (11/17) with 11 points, nine boards and four blocks ... six points, six blocks and six rebounds in home victory over Towson (12/8) ... career-high 12 rebounds with five points vs. Brown (12/29) ... first career double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds vs. Delaware State (1/19) ... then career-best seven blocks with nine rebounds in win over North Carolina Central (2/4) ... near double double with nine points, nine rebounds and four blocks vs. Coppin State (2/18) ... career-high 12 points off 5-8 shooting at Coppin State (3/4) ... one block shy of a triple double in overtime victory over Savannah State (3/7) with 11 points, 12 rebounds and nine blocks.
High School/Club: Lettered in basketball and soccer at Cardinal Spellman High School ... named Central Catholic League MVP and The Enterprise Player of the Year in basketball in 2011 ... named 2011 Boston Herald All-Scholastic and All-Star in girls basketball ... averaged a triple-double in her last three seasons in high school ... led the Cardinals to the CCL championship in 2011, scoring 31 points with 16 blocks and 13 rebounds in the title game against Bishop Fenwick ... set a school record with 20 blocked shots in a game in December 2009 ... named CCL Defensive Player of the Year in 2010.
