Host Hawks finish in fourth in Collegiate Golf Challenge

BERLIN, Maryland On a sunny Wednesday on the Ocean City Golf Club, Seaside Course (par 72), the Hawks teed it up for round 3 of the second annual Maryland Eastern Shore Collegiate Golf Challenge on Oct. 18th.

On the final day of play Senior Demarkis Cooper (Clinton, Maryland) took control of the course to fire a solid round even-par 72 to finish the event at solo 8th 77-75-72~224.

Senior Blair Waters (Jacksonville, Florida) slipped just a bit to shoot six-over-par 78 to finish the tournament for solo 11th 75-74-78~227. Sophomore Young Lee (Mount Airy, Maryland) had another solid day in the 70s shooting seven-over-par 79 closing out the tournament in a two-way tie for 14th 78-77-79~234. Senior Christian Owens (Upper Marlboro, Maryland) follows up round 2 with a five-over-par 77 in round 3 for solo 17th 84-76-77~237. Senior Darius Davis (Atlanta, Georgia) closes the event with an eleven-over-par 83 for a two-way tie for 18th 80-76-83~76-83~239.

Freshman Austin Goode wraps up his Hawks debut at home with an eight-over-par 80 to finish 22nd 87-79-80~246.
