IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men’s basketball team’s game at the University of Iowa will be televised nationally tonight as the contest is set to air on the Big Ten Network (BTN2GO). Game time for tonight’s contest is set for 7:01 (EST) and Eric Collins and Shon Morris will have the call. The matchup will be the first televised event for UMES this season as they will receive national attention against Iowa, the 2013 National Invitational Tournament runner-up.

UMES fans can view tonight’s game from campus on channel 26.5, 26.6. In the Salisbury area, fans using Comcast can view the game on channel 715 and 855. For those using DirecTV, the game can be found on channel 610. If subscribed to the DISH Network, the game can be found on channel 439.

The game is the first of four for the Hawks to be seen on television this season. The Hawks will be on television against Oregon State on Dec. 15, when their game in Corvallis, Ore., airs on the PAC-12 Network at 3 p.m. (PDT). In UMES’ game at Purdue on Dec. 17, the game will be aired on ESPN3 at 7 p.m. (EST). Also this season, UMES will be playing a television game at Virginia Tech (Dec. 31, 4 p.m.) on ESPN3.
