Hawk Hysteria set to build Hawk Pride for the upcoming basketball season
Oct. 11, 2017

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland - Maryland Eastern Shore Athletics will host the eighth annual Hawk Hysteria on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the William P. Hytche Athletic Center. For the first time this season, fans will begin to build their Hawk Pride for the 2017-18 men’s and women’s basketball teams while enjoying great performances from campus organizations and a MEAC Volleyball match against rival Delaware State.

The night starts at 6 p.m. with first serve between the Hawks and the Hornets as The Shore looks to maintain their current first place standing in the league. Admission to the volleyball match is just $5.00.

After the nets come down and the hoops go up, the youngest Hawk fans will be treated to HH3’s birthday party. And what’s a party without cake and friends?

Both the men’s and women’s programs will square off in a three-point shooting contest before being introduced to the crowd for the first time this season. Each team will play a brief inter-squad scrimmage, showing the Eastern Shore faithful their skills and building some Hawk Pride for the upcoming season.

The night will feature Force One Productions live, several different organizations from around campus also performing and include a guest appearance from a former NBA No. 1 overall pick.

The Hawks look forward to seeing everyone in attendance for what will be a great night. Admission is free for the basketball portion of the evening.
