RUSTON, Louisiana -

Sundays contest at Louisiana Tech (3-2) started out well for Maryland Eastern Shore (0-6) as it trailed just 31-26 at the half. But the second half was the Hawks undoing as they were outrebounded, outshot and outscored on their way to a 74-53 loss.

Sophomore Deven Dorsett (Lithonia, Georgia) pulled down a game-high seven rebounds.
