Hawks win streak snapped by Tigers

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore battled back from as many as 13 points down, took its first lead of the second half with just over 9 minutes to go and held the lead (75-74) as late as the 5:15 mark of the second half on Monday against Savannah State. But it was the Tigers (10-12, 7-2 MEAC) who came out on top 87-82.

Hawks give GW all they can handle

Senior Bakari Copeland (Decatur, Georgia) poured in 21 points -- including 14 in the second half -- and grabbed four rebounds as the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (0-1) dropped a close season opener at George Washington 75-71.

Lees-McRae 2013-14: Started in 22 of 27 games played for the Division II squad, averaging 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.1 assista and 1.4 steals... Shot 86 percent from the free throw line...

Cape Fear C.C. 2015-16:
 Second on the Sea Devils in scoring at 14.5 points per game... Started 25 of 28 games and helped lead the team to a 25-8 record... Also averaged 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals...
