Eastern Shore Baseball to host four prospect camps
July 24, 2018

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — Head coach Brian Hollamon and the Maryland Eastern Shore baseball program are offering Fall Elite Prospect Camps. These four separate day-long events are designed for high school students graduating between 2019 and 2022, providing advanced instruction by the Maryland Eastern Shore coaching staff and emphasizing the potential to play Division I baseball.

The prospect camps will be held Aug. 26, Sept. 16, Oct. 21 and Nov. 11. Prospects can register online.

“My staff and I are excited to welcome prospects and help develop their baseball skills.” Hollamon said. “The camp will benefit kids and parents alike, and gives the students a glimpse into life at college is really like.”

Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. and the camp will run until 5 that evening. Prospects will receive instruction, practice and compete in a game at Hawk Stadium. Current players will mentor campers with a Q&A session on playing in college. Parents will receive a recruiting session with Hollamon and the families will tour the Maryland Eastern Shore athletic facilities.

Each camper is required to bring their own baseball equipment, including a glove, cleats or spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary. There will be limited supplies of bats and gloves that can be provided upon request.
