The University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team concluded its 2013-14 regular season on Saturday afternoon as the Hawks were swept in a doubleheader by NJIT ...

Thursday's contest begins at 2 p.m. from Max Bishop Stadium. The weekend series starts Friday at 2 p.m. with 11 a.m. start times the rest of the way. Saturday will be a doubleheader while Friday and Sunday will be single games.

Navy is The Shore's third most frequent competitor out of conference, dating back to 1985. The Hawks and the Midshipmen have met 34 times since then, with Navy succeeding in 29 of those meetings. However, three of the Hawks' five wins in the series have come in the past four seasons.

As for NJIT the teams have only met twice, when the Highlanders swept a doubleheader in 2014. A series was planned for February of this year, but had to be cancelled due to snow.

Maryland Eastern Shore earned their first win of the season last weekend against Lafayette. Navy enters this week with an 8-4 record and NJIT will come in at 2-5. The Highlanders' two wins this season came against the Midshipmen last weekend.

Live stats are available for the Navy game as well as the weekend series. Tickets for the weekend are online and students with HawkCards are free.
