2013: Made most appearances for UMES on the mound with 20, including four starts ... finished with a 1-5 record and a save, throwing 43.2 innings with a 7.83 ERA ... struck out 16 batters with just 11 walks ... started the second game of the year against Winthrop (2/17), not allowing a run in the first four innings ... earned a save in the team's first win over Lafayette (3/9), going 3.1 innings of scoreless relief ... went 3.1 innings against Monmouth (3/19) without a run ... got the win over Norfolk State (3/23) with a 1.1 inning relief appearance, not allowing a run ... combined to throw five innings in final two relief appearances against MEAC opponents, striking out three with no runs.
2012: UMES's top relief pitcher, earning Co-Most Improved Player of the Year ... finished with a 3.68 ERA (11.05 ERA last season) in 71 innings with 40-15 K-BB ratio, each top mark on the team ... amassed a 4-2 record ... pitched 4.1 innings of relief against Indiana State in the Bulldog Classic (2/25), allowing just one unearned run ... struck out five in a seven-inning relief outing, allowing three runs vs. Cornell (3/2) ... allowed just one hit with no runs in 4.2 innings at Norfolk State (3/18) ... earned his first collegiate victory with a 3.1 inning relief appearance at Coppin State (4/1), getting one run and three strikeouts ... second victory came against Coppin State (4/7) with two scoreless innings ... pitched seven innings in relief at Norfolk State (5/5) with only one run for the win ... combined to throw 9.1 innings in three appearances in the MEAC Tournament, allowing just one run (0.96 ERA), including pitching four innings with just one run allowed for the victory over Delaware State (5/18) ... was an All-Star in the Pacific West Baseball League during the summer as a member of the Auburn Wildcats, finishing with a 5-2 record, 3.12 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 63.1 innings.
2011: Made 23 appearances on the mound with six starts ... finished with 0-6 record and 11.05 ERA ... made seven appearances from the bullpen in conference, had 4.00 ERA in nine innings ... struck out 16 batters ... threw three scoreless innings in final appearance against North Carolina A&T in the MEAC Tournament (5/19) ... threw complete game against St. Peter's (4/6), allowing three earned runs with a pair of strikeouts.
High School: Earned two letters in baseball at Franklin High School ... led team to two 20-win seasons ... won first playoff game in Franklin history in his senior season ... earned Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore ... boasted a 32-4 K-BB ratio as a senior ... holds Franklin's single-season ERA record (1.11) ... part of the Baseball Mentoring Program in Sacramento, Calif.
