2012: 2011-12 UMES Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team after throwing a complete game against Bethune-Cookman (5/19), pitched eight innings with just one earned run and a career-high 11 strikeouts in final UMES pitching outing ... served as a relief pitcher and mid-week starter, making 19 appearances with five starts ... finished with a career best 5.06 ERA, going 1-6 in 42.2 innings with 37 strikeouts ... threw four innings in start against Mount St. Mary's (3/13), allowing two runs with three strikeouts ... followed up with two straight two-inning relief appearances of scoreless baseball at North Carolina Central (3/21) and vs. Mount St. Mary's (3/28), combining for four strikeouts ... earned victory over Coppin State (4/6) after pitching scoreless ninth with Hawks walk-off win ... pitched a save by finishing a game against Coppin State (4/7), allowing one run in the ninth inning in a 6-5 win ... started Senior Day against Delaware State (5/12), throwing six innings with two earned runs and striking four in a no decision ... named to the MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team ... delivered Commencement speech to Class of 2012.
