Hawks vs. Delaware State (4.2.17)

The Shore swept a doubleheader over the Hornets, shaved their heads in solidarity with those fighting pediatric cancer.

2018 (Senior): Shined as the Hawks primarily reliever in his senior season ... finished the campaign with a career best in both ERA and strikeouts ... those marks ranked best and third most on the team, respectively ... delivered four scoreless relief outings with six strikeouts to open the season ... recorded a win against Norfolk State and a save versus Delaware State ... pitched to a 2.04 ERA against the MEAC ... finished 15 games for the Hawks, including the final three MEAC games against the Hornets as they advanced to the MEAC Championships.   

2017 (Junior):
Appeared mainly in relief for the 2017 campaign ... pitched in 18 games (four starts) ... was the Hawks' Opening Day starter against Mercer February 17th ... finished fifth on the team in innings pitched (41) ... exceptional against MEAC competitors with a 2.78 ERA ... won his first collegiate game out of the bullpen, going 3 1/3 innings against the Iona Gaels on March 11th.

2016 (Sophomore):
Moved from the bullpen to the weekend rotation during the season ... led all weekend starters with a 5.04 ERA in 15 appearances (eight starts) ... pitched 60.2 innings to led the team ... made his first start against Duke on March 15th, going four with two runs surrendered and three punchouts ... had a stretch in conference play where he pitched to a 3.43 ERA over three games, including a 6 2/3 inning effort with under two runs allowed over Delaware State ... earned a season high four strikeouts against the Hornets a couple weeks later ... named to MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team. 

2015 (Freshman):
Participated in 12 games as a freshman ... made his debut against Alabama on Feb. 13th, giving up two runs in 1 1/3 innings ... had a pair of scoreless outings against Coppin State with three strikeouts ... also had a scoreless frame against N.C. Central with two strikeouts ... earned his first start against Charlotte on March 17th.

Personal:
Born July 1, 1996 in Christiana, DE ... son of Cindi and Rich ... has two brothers, Richie and Mike ... business marketing major at Maryland Eastern Shore ... four year letterwinner at baseball at Rising Sun High School, where he pitched a 1.15 ERA in his senior campaign ... was named to All-County and All-Region Team in his senior year, as well as UCBAC All-Star Team ... was also named to the honor roll senior year ... played legion ball in Cecil County, where he no-hit Gaithersburg en route to winning the division ... pre-game routine involves listening and music and strecthing ... best personal sports moment is three straight games with 10 strikeouts recorded ... lists dad as his biggest influence because he is a hard worker who stays motivated and pushes him to do his best ... wants to be a marketer for a highly known company or own his own business upon graduation ... hobbies outsides of sports inludes hanging out with friends and spending time outside ... favorite movie is Gridiron Gang ... personal athletic goals are to help contribute my best effort to the team and do my job and to win MEACs.
