2016 MEAC Cross Country Championships

Maryland Eastern Shore's men cross country team won its third straight conference title; women took second place.


The 2016 Cappy Anderson Invitational

The women's team won the event while Khalil Rmidi Kinini won as an individual and the men's team took second place.

2016 Cross Country: Made an immediate impact, winning her debut race with a time of 20:19.90 at the Del State Invite … also claimed victory at the DSU Farm Run … finished second at the Cappy Anderson 5k with a regular season best time of 18:44.11 … trumped her regular season best with an 18:34.24 at the MEAC Championships, ending the race in fifth place.

2017 Indoor Track: Specialized in the 3000 meter and 5000 meter runs during the season, competing at the MEAC Championships in both events … scored two points at the conference championships by finishing 7th at MEAC’s … set PR’s in every event during indoor, including a winning time of 5:42.03 in the mile at the Coach O Invitational, and times of 10:50.18 in the 3000 (Villanova Open) and 18:39.34 in the 5000 (Terrapin Invitational) … achieved another victory in the 3000 meter at the Eastern Shore Lid-Lifter.

2017 Outdoor Track: Competed exclusively in the 5K and 10K events … became first women’s runner to compete in a 10K during the outdoor season, earning the de facto school record with a time of 40:39.60 to win the event at the Christopher Newport Captains’ Classic … scored a point at MEAC’s with an 8th place finish in the 10K … topped out at 18:59.97 in the 5K with a run at the Virginia Challenge.
