Maryland Eastern Shore's men cross country team won its third straight conference title; women took second place.

The women's team won the event while Khalil Rmidi Kinini won as an individual and the men's team took second place.

2016 Cross Country: Ran a season best 22:05.98 at the Cappy Anderson Invite to come in 19th place … finished the MEAC Championship in 22:40.77.

2015 Outdoor Season: Competed in a large number of events ... had a top time of 57.79 seconds in the 400 meter dash ... finished second at the VertKlasse Meeting with a time of 2:11.69 at the 800 meter run and finished fifth in the same race at the MEAC Championships ... helped the 4x400 relay team qualify for the MEAC and IC4A/ECAC Championships, finishing fourth and third, respectively, in each race ... the IC4A time was the fastest of the season at 3:41.83 ... competed on the 1600 Sprint Medley team and finished third with a time of 4:03.64 at the Raleigh Relays.

2015 Indoor Season: Raced 21 times between mid-distance and relay races ... had the fastest time of any Hawk in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:16.75 ... primarily ran in the 800 meter run, with a top time of 2:12.48 at the Terrier Invitational ... took fourth at the MEAC Championships in the 800 meter ... won the Coach O Invitational's 800 meter with a time of 2:15.70 ... also had the top time of the Lady Hawks in the 1000 meter run at 3:03.69, taking 8th at Navy ... placed twice in the top ten in the mile run, including a time of 5:19.54 at the Navy Invite ... helped the 4x400 relay team acheive numerous victories and top five finishes with a top time of 3:46.12 at the Terrier Invitational ... team also finished fourth at the MEAC Championships and won at events over the winter ... qualified for the 4x800 at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, and finished fifth with a time of 8:50.87 ... helped distance medley team to a 1st place finish at the MEAC Championships.

2014 Cross Country:
Had a strong campaign as a sophomore ... led off the year with a sixth place finish at the UMES Lid Lifter and a time of 20:30.29 ... had her fastest time at the Del. State Invitational with a time of 19:23.7, a collegiate best ... registered another 6th place finish at the Cappy Anderson Invite ... finished 11th at the MEAC Championships with a time of 19:37.9.

2014 Indoor Season:
competed in twenty events for the Hawks...won the 800 meter run at the Coach O Invitational last December with a time of 2:23.19...played a hand in winning three relay win in the 4x400 meter...helped set a school record in the 4x800 meter relay at the IC4A/ECAC Championships with a time of 8:57.67

2013 Cross Country:
Was the top female runner for the Hawks...scored four top ten finishes in six meets...made her collegiate debut with a 12th place, 20:39.29 time at the UMES Lid LIfter...her first top ten time came at the Hornet Invitational with an 8th place time of 19:58.12...followed that with a 7th place finish at Cappy Anderson Invitational...finished sixth in her first 5k race of her career with a time of 19:53.25 at the Farm Run Invitational...improved her time at the Delaware State Invitational with a 19:39.40, 10th place finish...earned the best time for Lady Hawks at the MEAC Championships with a time of 19:29.80 and a 17th place finish.

High School: Raced in track and cross country at Thomas Stone...All-SMAC 2011-2013 and All-County 2011-2013...Team won 2012 Indoor and 2013 Outdoor Regional Championships and 2013 Outdoor State Champions...was runner up in 2012 Indoor States...State champ in 500 meter for 2012 Indoor and 800 meter state champ for 2013 Outdoor...3 time 4x400 state champ from 2010-2013...graduated in top 15% of the class.

Born April 3, 1995...daughter of Michael and Lea Halmon...is one of seven children...criminal justice major at UMES...best personal sports moment was winning high school outdoor states by one point...plans to go to law school upon graduation...favorite saying is "A goal without a plan is just a dream"...favorite movie is Gridiron Gang.
