The 2016 Cappy Anderson Invitational

The women's team won the event while Khalil Rmidi Kinini won as an individual and the men's team took second place.

2017 Cross Country: Ran in every race during the season ... fastest time with a 22:18.7 at the MEAC Championships ... best finish with a 13th place showing during the Eastern Shore Lid-Lifter.

2018 Indoor Track: Broke a 34 year old school record with a time of 40.18 seconds at the TCNJ College Open  in the 300 dash … surpassed Carol Galloway’s mark of 40.36 seconds set back in 1983 … Qualified for the MEAC in the 200 and 400 meter dashes … ranked 39th in the ECAC as a member of the 4x400 relay team and 46th in the 200 after a 24.76 second running at MEAC’s … ranks seventh in the 4x400, 11th in the 400 and 14th in the 200 among the MEAC … earned a personal record in the 60 meter (7.92 seconds) … won the 200 meter at the Eastern Shore Invite as an individual and helped on three relay wins.

2018 Outdoor Track: Named Women’s Outdoor Track MVP by the coaching staff … qualified for the ECAC and MEAC in four events-the 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x400 … led the Hawks in four events individually (100, 200, 400, Javelin) … ranked 25th in the ECAC for the 200 and 47th for the 400 … set personal records in the 100 with a 12.17 second effort at the Colonial Relays; the 200 with a 24.01 at MEAC’s, and for the javelin at the Towson Invitational … had a fantastic showing at the Captains Classic, winning in all four events she competed in … part of the 4x100 team that ranked eighth in the MEAC and 28th in the ECAC after a 46.55 second effort at the Captains Classic … also ran the first leg of the 4x400 at MEAC’s to a 3:48:47 finish, which ranked eighth in the conference and 39th in the ECAC.

2017 Indoor Track: Qualified to MEAC’s as an individual in the 200 and 400 meter dashes and was an integral part of the 4x400 relay team … ran the first leg of the 4x400 team that placed 4th at the IC4A/ECAC Championships and 7th at MEAC’s … ECAC time of 3:45.10 ranked 15th among all competitors … earned a third place finish at Wesley Brown in the 200 with a season best time of 25.28 seconds … also finished runner up at the Terrapin Invitational in the 200 … finished fifth at Wesley Brown in the 400 with a season best 57.87 seconds.

2017 Outdoor Track: Dash competitor who also participated in every relay this season … led the Hawks 4x400 team to a 3rd place finish at MEAC’s and a 2nd place finish at the IC4A/ECAC Championships … qualified for the MEAC Championships in the 400 meter dash … earned three wins as a relay runner along with an individual win in the 400 at the Christopher Newport Captains’ Classic.

2016 Indoor Season: Predominantly participated in the 200 and 400 meter dashes ... best time of the season in the 200 was a 25.07 second performance at the Scarlet & White that placed her 15th ... registered a top time of 1:00.80 in the 400 ... earned several top ten finishes along the way, with one coming in a 60 meter dash and two in both the 200 and 400 ... helped on a 4x400 relay team that placed second at the UMES Lid-Lifter.

2016 Outdoor Season: Set new personal records in all three sprints she raced during the season ... ran a 12.31 second time in the 100 at High Point, a 24.87 second 200 dash time at Navy (which placed her second) and a 56.08 time in the 400 at MEAC's which scored points for the Hawks ... also participated in the relays during the year, running the 4x100 and 4x200 races, winning one race in the 4x100 and placing third at the Penn Relays in the 4x200 ... earned two runner up finishes as an individual.

2015 Outdoor Season: Sprinter and relay runner who joined on for the spring ... debuted March 29th at the Raleigh Relays, posted a 12.75 second performance in the 100 meter dash ... registered a 12.55 at the VertKlasse Meeting, coming in 8th ... top time in the 200 meter was a 25.72 seconds at the Morgan Legacy ... finished 12th in the 400 meter at MEACs with a 59.46 second clip ... assisted in four top ten relay finishes in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400.

High School/Club: Competed in track and field and volleyball and Thomas Secondary School ... was named MVP of the track squad five years running ... earned Academic Excellence three years running ... played for Aspirers Athletic Club in track and field ... organization was named Sports Club of the Year in 2013, and Gabriel was named Most Consistent Athlete ... ran a 11.98 100 meter dash and 24.04 200 meter dash as personal bests.

Personal: born May 3, 1996 in Roseau ... daughter of Cyrilla Hilton ... has two sisters and three brothers ... biology major at Maryland Eastern Shore ... likes to think positively while stretch and running drills in warm ups ... won gold at the 2012 CONTFA games and ran in the 2012 Olympics in London for home country of Dominica ... lists family, friends and coaches as greatest influences because they push her to do well ... aspires to become a dentist upon graduation ... favorite saying is "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me" ... enjoys watching TV and playing computer games in her spare time ... wants to get under a 10.8 100 meter and a 22.5 200 meter before graduating.
