Cross Country Championships

men & women who did great all season competing for the championship

2017 Cross Country: Competed in four meets during the season ... best time was a 31:02.4, 22nd place finish during the DSU Alumni 8K.

2018 Indoor Track: Qualified for the MEAC in the 800 meter run with a winning time of 1:55.93 at the Wesley Brown Invitational … ranked 14th in the conference for this event after posting an adjusted time of 1:54.59 at MEAC’s … set a personal record in the 1000 with a time of 2:33.71 to win the event at the Seahawks Shootout … assisted in two 4x400 relay wins at the Wesley Brown Invitational and Eastern Shore Invite … part of the DMR squad that ranked 93rd nationwide with an adjusted 10:03.26 showing …  earned the Men’s Indoor Track Coaches’ Award for his efforts.  

2018 Outdoor Track: Named the MVP for men’s field thanks largely to his performance in throwing the javelin … won the event at MEAC’s with a personal best distance of 53.80 meters … that mark was the second best in the conference all season … also ranked 19th in the high jump among MEAC competitors … ran in several events as well, including a 4x800 team that ranked 48th in the IC4A after a 7:46.53 at the Penn Relays … competed in the 800 meter run four times which included a win at the Delaware Open.
