Maryland Eastern Shore's men cross country team won its third straight conference title; women took second place.
The women's team won the event while Khalil Rmidi Kinini won as an individual and the men's team took second place.

2017 Cross Country: Ran in every meet during the fall … fastest time and best finish was at the DSU Alumni Run, where she ran a 21:16.3 to finish in seventh place.
2016 Cross Country: Placed 32nd at the MEAC Championships with a time of 20:24.71 … had her best regular season showing with a time of 21:33.90 at the Cappy Anderson 5k to come in 16th place … also earned a nearly equal showing at the DSU Farm Run with a time of 21:34.0 to place 17th.
2017 Indoor Track: Most successful event was the 200 meter dash, where she holds the top three times for the Hawks … qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Championships in the 200, registering a season best time of 24.54 seconds at ECAC’s … ran the final leg of several 4x400 relays, including a fourth place finish at ECAC’s and a seventh place showing at MEAC’s … also was successful in the 400 meter dash, qualifying for MEAC’s in that event … including relays, registered five top five finishes and a victory in the 200 meter dash at the Wesley Brown Invitational.
2017 Outdoor Track: Parlayed her success into the outdoor season, succeeding again in both the dash events and several relays … qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Championships in the 400 meter dash, ranking 55th among ECAC competitors in the event … her top time of 55.67 seconds in the 400 meter dash serves as a personal record … holds the top two times in the 200 for the Hawks … ran the second leg of the 4x100 meter relay to a season best time of 46.95 seconds that exceeded IC4A/ECAC standards … ran the final leg of the 4x400 relay to a second place finish at the IC4A/ECAC Championships and a third place finish at MEAC’s … also helped to earn two victories in relay races.
2015 Cross Country: Earned three top ten finishes in a strong sophomore season ... came in seventh place at the DSU Farm Run with a time of 20:22.71 ... also earned top tens at the UMES Lid Lifter and Delaware State Invite ... ran a sub-20 minute race at the MEAC Championships with a 19:17.10.
2016 Indoor Season: Holds the top Hawk times in the 200 and 500 meter dashes ... raced to a 24.79 second performance and a 10th place finish at the Scarlet & White ... placed second at the UMES Lid Lifter in the 500 with a time of 1:18.14 ... top time in the 400 was 57.79 seconds at the Great Dane Classic ... helped the 4x400 relay team to a third place finish and time of 3:48.86 at the MEAC Championships.
2016 Outdoor Season: Dasher and relay runner for the Hawks ... primarily competed in the 200 and 400 meter dashes ... set a personal record in the 400 with a time of 56.16 seconds at the Virginia Challenge ... fastest time in the 200 was a 24.89 second running at the VertKlasse Meeting, where she finished 8th ... took a fifth place showing at the Wake Forest Open ... qualified for the MEAC Championships, helping the 4x400 relay team to a victory at a clip of 3:39.97 ... also earned a win at Navy and a fifth place finish in the 4x100 relay.
2014 Cross Country: Competed five times out of six ... fastest time and finish was a 19:49 flat, 11th place finish at the Del State Invitational ... debuted with a 16th place time of 22:48.16 at the UMES Lid Lifter ... ran a 20:48.2 at the MEAC Championships, coming in 31st.
2015 Indoor Season: Raced in the 200 and 400 meter dash as well as relays ... fastest time in the 200 with a 24.18 second, 3rd place performance at the Boston Last Chance ... won the 200 at the Nelson Townsend Invite with a time of 25.04 seconds and the Coach O Invitational with a time of 25.85 seconds ... qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Championships, running a time of 24.50 seconds in that event ... holds the fastest five times for the Lady Hawks in the 400 ... quickest time was 57.71 seconds at the Gotham Cup ... was on the relay team that took 4th at the MEAC Champs with a time of 3:51.87 and part of the relay team that won three 4x400 races this season.
2015 Outdoor Season: Topped out at 12.08 seconds in the 100 meter dash at the VertKlasse Meeting to finish fourth ... qualified for both MEAC and IC4A/ECAC, finishing 17th and 15th, respectively ... also qualified for both meets in the 200 meter dash ... she placed 10th in each meet, with a 24.51 time at IC4As and a 24.29 time at MEACs ... was part of most relay teams for the Lady Hawks this year, including a 47.41 second time at the MEAC Championships in the 4x100, a qualification in the IC4A for the 4x400 and a third place finish and a sprint medley team that finished third at the Raleigh Relays.
Personal: Born July 10, 1996 in Nigeria ... daughter of Patricia Njoku ... has four brothers ... human ecology major at Maryland Eastern Shore ... wants to get her masters in teaching upon graduation ... the Golden Rule is her favorite piece of advice.
