Maryland Eastern Shore's men cross country team won its third straight conference title; women took second place.
The women's team won the event while Khalil Rmidi Kinini won as an individual and the men's team took second place.

2017 Cross Country: Had an outstanding regular season, coming in second or third in all of his meets ... included a 16:24.7 runner up time at the DSU Hornet Invite ... finished 16th at the MEAC Championships with a time of 26:21.7.
2018 Indoor Track: Part of the DMR squad that ranked 93rd nationwide with an adjusted 10:03.26 showing at the MEAC Championships … that time earned the Hawks eight points at the championship and ranked them second in the conference and 24th in the IC4A … qualified for the IC4A in the 800 meters with an adjusted finish of 1:54.15 at the Eastern Shore Invite … also qualified for MEAC’s in the mile … was part of six victories this past winter - two as an individual and four as part of a relay … set new PR’s with a 1:25.03 in the 600 and a 2:31.42 in the 1000.
2018 Outdoor Track: Went to Princeton as part of the 4x400 team and qualified for MEAC’s in the 800 and 1500 meter runs … ranked in the top 50 for IC4A as part of two relays and ranked twice in the MEAC’s top 20 as an individual … set a new personal record with a time of 23.75 seconds in the 200 meter dash … also competed in the IC4A for the 800 meter run … best finish this season was on the 4x400 team which finished runner up at the Captains Classic … won the coaches’ award from the track & field staff.
2016 Cross Country: Placed third at Del State Invite 5k ... added another top five finish with a fourth place showing at the DSU Farm Run … earned a top time of 25:45.6 for an 8k event at the Princeton Invitational … finished 12th overall (fourth among Hawks) with a time of 26:16.52 at the MEAC Championships.
2017 Indoor Track: Ran the third leg of the school record setting time of 10:01.76 in the distance medley relay at the IC4A/ECAC Championships … as an individual, led the Hawks in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:54.71 to finish 10th at the Villanova Open … set personal records of 4:19 flat in the mile and 8:47.59 in the 3000 meter run … secured a pair of top five finishes in the mile, including a third place finish to go along with his PR time.
2017 Outdoor Track: Ran the 800 meter at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic in 1:52.08, earning a PR and coming in second behind teammate Khalil Rmidi Kinini … achieved an individual victory in the 1500 meter, running a 4:08.79 at the Savannah State Twilight … also assisted in a 4x400 relay winning time of 3:17.19 at the Christopher Newport Captains’ Classic, a mark that exceeded IC4A qualification standards.
2015 Cross Country: Debuted as a Hawk in the UMES Lid-Lifter, finishing sixth with a time of 16:18.47 ... earned another sixth place finish at the DSU Farm Run 8k with a time of 27:20.06 ... one of five Hawks to place in the top ten during MEAC's at a clip of 26:11.10 and a ninth place finish ... competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional 10k.
2016 Indoor Season: Competed in various mid-distance/distance races during the season ... was a fixture at the MEAC Indoor Championships, running in five events and scoring points in three of them ... helped win the DMR with a time of 10:12.85 while placing seventh in the mile and eighth in the 3000 meter run ... took a top ten finish at the Crimson Elite in the 400 with a season high time of 51.46 seconds ... finished runner up at the UMES Lid-Lifter in the 800 and fourth in the mile with a season best 4:21.55 ... ran an 8:51.66 3000 meter at the Scarlet & White.
2016 Outdoor Season: Qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Championships in the 800, where he finished with a time of 1:52.90 ... scored twice more in individual events at MEAC Outdoor Championships, with a sixth place finish in the 5000 and a seventh place finish in the 1500 ... hit a best time of 3:58.48 in the 1500 at the Wake Forest Open ... took another 6th place finish at Navy in the 5000 ... helped in a top ten placement at the VertKlasse Meeting in the 4x400.
College: competed for Virginia Union out of the CIAA as a freshman ... team won the conference last season.
High School: ran on the Cross Country District Championship team at Andrew Jackson H.S. ... was named Athlete of the Year.
Personal: born July 20, 1996 in Jacksonville ... son of Rose and Willie Miller ... has a sister and two brothers ... exercise science major at Maryland Eastern Shore ... prays as a pre-game ritual ... lists God as his biggest influence because he is the one who has gotten him here today ... wants to be a physical therapist upon graduation ... favorite saying is "The sky is the limit" ... likes to play basketball and games ... hopes to run a 1:47 (800), 3:36 (1500) and 13:50 (5000) before graduation.
