2017 Cross Country: Participated in all but one meet during the season ... placed in the top ten three times, including a fourth place finish at the DSU Pre-Conference Run ... earned a time of 27:07.5 at the MEAC Championships to come in 20th place.

2018 Indoor Track: Mostly ran in the 5000 meter run, qualifying for MEAC’s with a season best time of 15:32.99 at the TCNJ College Open … finished every regular season race in the top five, including a third place running of the 3000 at the Eastern Shore Invite … ranked 15th in the MEAC for the 5000 and 19th in the 3000.

2018 Outdoor Track: Punched his ticket to Greensboro for MEAC’s in three events - the 5000m, 10000m, and 3000 steeplechase … ranks 12th in the MEAC for the 5K and 10K, and 13th in the steeplechase … set a new personal record in the 800 meter with a time of 2:00.51 at the Towson Invitational ... scored a point for the Hawks at MEAC’s with an eighth place finish of 33:04.24 in the 10000 meter run … won the 10000 at the Captains Classic with a posting of 33:19.47.

2016 Cross Country: Started out strong with a fourth place finish of 16:36.50 at the Del State Invite 5k … added a third place finish at the DSU Farm Run … placed second among Hawks with a time of 32:16 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional 10k … finished 16th at the 2016 MEAC Championships.

2017 Indoor Track: Set personal records in both the 3K and 5K events … placed second at the Navy Open with a PR of 8:49.38 in the 3000 ... earned two points with his PR time of 15:21.04 in the 5000 meter run.  

2017 Outdoor Track: Qualified for the MEAC Championships in the 10K and the 3000 meter steeplechase … earned a 2nd place finish with a time of 10:17.56 in the steeplechase at the Savannah State Twilight … set a personal record in the 800 meter run with a showing of 2:01.98 at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic.

2015 Cross Country: Was a consistent top ten performer for the second straight season ... started the season off with pair of third place finishes at the UMES Lid-Lifter and DSU Invite ... took fifth at the DSU Farm Run Invite .. placed sixth at the MEAC Championships with a time of 26:00.40.

2016 Indoor Season: Specialized in the distance races ... set a new PR in the mile with a time of 4:30.74 at the UMES Lid-Lifter, where he placed fifth ... scored points at MEAC's with his run of 15:38.92 in the 5000 meter run ... had a top time of 8:59.20 in the 3000 ... was part of the DMR team that ran 2nd at the Wesley Brown Invitational.

2016 Outdoor Season: Finished third in the Hawks' first ever running of a 10k event with his time of 32:05.36 at Navy ... managed top ten finishes at least once in every other event he competed in, including a sixth place time of 9:57.75 in the 3000 steeplechase and a seventh place time of 15:57.03 at MEAC's ... won a steeplechase event at Coppin State during the Don Webster Invite.

2014 Cross Country: Consistently a top ten finisher over the course of the season ... began his collegiate career with a fifth place time of 16:58.39 at the UMES Lid Lifter ... added another 5th place finish at the Del State Invite ... fastest 8k time was a 25:26.87, 7th place run at the Cappy Anderson Invite ... finished 34th at the MEAC Championship.

2015 Indoor Season: Distance runner ... finished fourth at the Nelson Townsend Invite with a time of 4:32.37 in the mile ... also took third in the Coach O's mile ... finished 14th at the MEAC Championships in the mile, 8th in the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:10.85 and 6th in the 5000 with a time of 15:30.34 ... top time in the 3000 with 8:52.05, tying him for 13th at the Navy Invite.

2015 Outdoor Season: Took a pair of top ten finishes in the 1500 meter run, including a 10th place of 4:07.69 ... ran in fifth place in the 5000 meter at the MEAC Championships with a time of 15:30.34 ... took third at the Navy Invitational and second at the Morgan Legacy in the 5000.

High School: Played cross country, soccer and volleyball in high school ... was a provinical champion who qualified for nationals.

Personal: Born on August 8, 1991 in Kenya ... son of Esther Meli ... has a brother, Josphat ... Business Administration major at Maryland Eastern Shore ... relaxes and listens to music as a pregame routine ... lists Hicham Elgurach as his biggest influence because of their determination to succeed ... wants to begin an athletic program for young athletes to succeed ... favorite saying is "Never give up" ... likes to help others and sing gospel music as hobbies ... hopes to qualify for nationals and be one of the school's outstanding athletes.
