Outdoor Track at the Delaware Classic

The Hawks battled in Newark, Delaware on Saturday, March 24th.

2017 Cross Country: Made her collegiate debut with a season best 14th place showing at the Eastern Shore Lid-Lifter … her fastest time came at the MEAC Championship with a 22:17.5.

2018 Indoor Track: Won the Women’s Indoor Field MVP and Rookie of the Year honor by the coaching staff … competed in 25 events, ranging from hurdles to relays to the pentathlon … won the pentathlon at the Eastern Shore Invite with a score of 3124 to rank 11th in the conference and 41st in the ECAC … also ranked 16th in the MEAC for the high jump and 19th in the hurdles … won two events in the hurdles and finished second at the Eastern Shore Invite with her season best 8.94 seconds … participated in three events at the conference championships, including a sixth place finish in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:51.58 … that time is good for a seventh place ranking in the MEAC and 39th in the ECAC.

2018 Outdoor Track: Once again won Rookie of the Year honors for outdoor track at the 2018 Harry Awards … balanced with multiple events during the spring … qualified to the ECAC for two relays, and ran in the MEAC Championships for the 400 hurdles and the heptathlon … part of the 4x100 relay team that ran a 46.55 second time at the Captains Classic and a 4x400 relay team than ran a 3:48.47 at the MEAC Championships … those times ranked 28th and 39th in the ECAC, respectively … ranks 12th in the MEAC thanks to a 4076 point effort in the heptathlon, and 15th in the 400 hurdles with a 1:04.02 at the Towson Invite … helped win two relay events over the course of the season.
