SSC Theater 5.6.14

2015 Indoor Season: Won the high jump at the Coach O Invitational with a jump of 1.65 meters ... took second at the Navy Invite and fourth at the Nelson Townsend Invite ... finished third at Navy in a 60 meter dash with a time of 7.89 seconds ... added a pair of top ten finishes in the 60 meter during the season.

2015 Outdoor Season:
Jumped 1.62 meters at the MEAC Championships, coming in fifth place ... had a second top ten finish in the high jump and another in the long jump with a distance of 5.34 meters ... ran a 12.36 second time in the 100 meter dash ... helped on the 4x100 relay team that finished 9th at the MEAC Championships with a time of 47.41 seconds.

2014 Indoor Season
: Had two top five finishes in the 200m dash and a win in the High Jump...named 2014 MEAC All-Academic Honoree.

Personal: born on May 11, 1994...daughter of Allyson and Curtis Chappell...has a brother, Curtis Jr. ...nickname is Evey...criminal justice major at UMES...was on the honor roll in High School from 2010-12 and Dean's List in 2013...involved with the Bowie Boys and Girls Club and Front Runners Track Team, winning MVP two years straight...wears her "Faith" necklace and prays before every meet...earned 2nd place at states while a senior and a 1st Team All-American in junior and senior year at Bowie High School...list her parents as her biggest influences as she learned from the different paths they took...best non-athletic accomplishment is graduating from high school and surviving the first two years of college...plans to Make Money! and continue to be happyafter graduating...favorite sayingsare "Watch what you say and watch how people act" and"Be you and then God will do the rest"...favorite book is Green Eggs & Ham and favorite movie is Save the Last Dance...athletic goal is to push herself to personal records after every meet...hope to use her academic/athletic career to bring honor to the Chappell family name and aims to make her encouragers proud.
